KBR has been awarded a comprehensive Integrated Field Management Services contract by Basra Oil Company for operations at the Majnoon Oil Field, one of the world's largest producing assets with proven reserves exceeding 38 billion barrels. The engagement encompasses upstream engineering, project management, operations, and maintenance services across the field's portfolio.
Under the contract terms, KBR will establish an in-country workforce of approximately 2,000 personnel to execute field operations and support infrastructure. The company will deploy advanced artificial intelligence and digital technologies to enhance reservoir performance optimization and operational efficiency across the expansive asset.
